ESF Event - Supporting the Delivery of Skills & Jobs in Derby
Wed 3 May 2017, 09:30 – 15:00 BST
Join us at our Derby City ESF Event on 3rd May. This event has been organised to enable colleagues and partners to find out more about the programmes funded by European Social Funding (ESF) in Derby and explore how our residents, clients and businesses can benefit.
ESF funded programmes intend to provide a range of activity to support individuals to get closer to the labour market and also support SME’s (small and medium sized companies) to create apprenticeships and upskill their workforce. The programmes will work with any target group, including; vulnerable people, those with disabilities, the long-term unemployed, those in financial crisis and on health-related benefits. Derby City Council is keen to work together with local stakeholders and partners to ensure full benefits are realised for local people.
The organisations delivering the above programmes will provide:
• Detailed information and their approach to reach the target beneficiaries
• Opportunity to ask questions and discuss the emerging issues and/or challenges
• Opportunity to explore collaborative work and the added value that the programmes would
bring to the communities in Derby.
