Learn how to apply for grants of up to £20,000 from ESFA and ESF for projects supporting those who are unemployed or economically inactive

About this Event

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) alongside the European Social Fund (ESF) are providing Community Training Grants in the following areas:

  • London North and East areas of the LEAP (London Economic and Action Partnership). The London North and East LEAP areas cover the following local authorities Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Bromley, Enfield, Greenwich, Havering, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest.
  • Thames Valley Berkshire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership). The Thames Valley Berkshire LEP area covers the following local authorities: West Berkshire, Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead.
  • Dorset LEP. The Dorset LEP area covers the following local authorities: Dorset, Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.

Grants between £5,000 and £20,000 are being administered to fund innovative projects that support those who unemployed or economically inactive gain skills, training, employment and educational opportunities.

To support applicants during the application process, Groundwork London (administrators of the grant) are offering training workshop sessions to give applicants advice and guidance on how to create successful applications. At the end of the session there will be the opportunity for you to ask questions about the programme from a member of the ESFA Community Training Grants Team.
