ESPO Catering Services Webinar
Building on the outcomes of the first session, we will delve deeper into the further competition process. This session will focus on equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively complete the tender documents and subsequent tasks, enabling you to appoint a catering supplier who meets the needs of your school.
This session will cover:
- Step-by-step guidance on completing the free template documents provided by ESPO
- Actions to take following the circulation of tender documents
- How to respond to clarification questions
- How to utilise the process to obtain a bespoke service and benefit from the experiences of other schools and academies who have used the framework
- FAQs and additional support available
Our expert and experienced Food Category Manger and Framework Manager will lead the webinar, breaking down the procurement process which we understand can seem a daunting task. We encourage active participation and open dialogue. No question is too simple or complex.
Please select 'Reserve a Spot' to book your place. At ESPO's discretion, an email meeting invitation will be sent to you shortly before the session.
If you would like to use a notetaker when attending the webinar, we kindly ask that you contact food@espo.org and await approval from the team.

Procurement experience, while useful, isn't necessary for the webinars. This session is suitable for individuals new to ESPO frameworks, those unfamiliar with the Catering Services framework, those seeking a recap on the process, or those requiring additional support.
For a comprehensive understanding of the framework, we recommend attending both sessions. That said, if you have procurement experience and prefer to attend only Part 2, or would like to join Part 1 for introductory information to support a future requirement, that's absolutely fine.
Part 2 will cover, in detail, how to complete the further competition template documents provided by ESPO, so it's useful to download these and have them to hand during the webinar. They can be found on the ESPO Catering Services webpage, under 'Get Started' .
