Event description

Description

Event Overview

This event aims to enable ESRC Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) students, as well as non-DTC PhD students in the social sciences, to come together to generate and develop interdisciplinary collaborative ideas and activities.

Through facilitated discussion, students will gain experience of developing collaborative funding applications.

At the end of the event, groups of students will pitch their ideas to an academic panel who will award a small prize for the winning idea. All groups will then have the opportunity to develop their interdisciplinary ideas for up to £1.5k funding via the ESRC Doctoral Training Centre Doctoral Event Grants fund; a specific budget has been set aside for this purpose.
