ESRC's New Investigator Grants Scheme workshop
Wed 26 October 2016, 12:30 – 14:20 BST
Further to the announcement of the Economic and Social Research Council’s New Investigator Grants scheme, Research Services would like to invite you to a workshop aimed at staff who are interested in applying to this opportunity.
The workshop will be delivered by Dr Denise Martin from the School of Media, Culture and Society and it will take place at Paisley Campus on Wednesday 26th October 2016 from 12.30pm to 2.20pm in Room D132.
The session will provide an overview of the New Investigator Grants call and provide some key tips and advice to staff thinking about applying to this scheme or other similar early career funding. Dr Denise Martin, Senior Lecturer in Criminal Justice and Criminology at UWS, has been a member of the ESRC grant assessment panel for the last three years. She has also secured ESRC funding in her early career under the small grant scheme. This workshop will be interactive and allow the opportunity for questions and discussion.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into the scheme and early career researchers thinking of applying to this call are encouraged to attend.
