Essex County Council is pleased to invite you to our first Community Energy Seminar on the 25th March 2014.

Community energy is about putting people in control of the energy they use – it is about community-led action.

Join us at this free seminar to learn more about:

  • Benefits of community energy projects;
  • Renewable energy technologies and government incentives;
  • The experience of other groups in developing community energy initiatives.

Community energy projects could range from a new energy-efficient boiler in the local village hall, to a solar PV installation on the roof of the local school or even a community-owned wind farm. There are also opportunities for generating income for your community through government incentives.

Seminars will be followed by a free lunch with opportunities to discuss your ideas with our speakers.

Location: Essex Record Office - Wharf Road, Chelmsford, CM2 6YT.
