We look forward to welcoming participants to the next session of the Essex Retrofit Forum. We are delighted to welcome Gemma Voaden, Senior Manager Net Zero at the Together Housing Group.
Gemma will cover the group's plans and progress to achieve Net Zero across their portfolio of 38,000 dwellings spanning 42 different Local Authority areas. The group have embedded the commitment to Net Zero in their five-year business plan.
Interventions to date across over 6,000 homes have included air source and ground source heat pumps, solar PV and battery, and retrofit insulation work. The group also work with NatWest Group’s ESG Advisory team, with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) to enhance grid capacity and have partnered with the University of Huddersfield on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership. Together Housing were named Landlord of the Year in the Unlock Net Zero Awards 2025.
The session will provide an opportunity to listen to the work Together Housing have done in the retrofit space, with time for questions and discussion.
