Essex Wellness Summit
Sat 22 April 2017, 10:00 – 16:00 BST
Essex Wellness Summit is a collaboration of wellness advocates giving therapeutic advice and practical solutions, so you can improve your understanding of how to achieve optimum wellness in the family.
Paula Reynolds - (Greenstead Living Foods) Paula is a trained pallitive care nurse for people with cancer and has trained at Hippocrates Health Institute, Florida. "Here we studied holistic ways to support the mind body and soul in coping with life's stressors, illness and preventing the development of illness, we are very excited about sharing this and developing this education with community." Paula also studied at the Dr Vodder School of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy.
Clair Evans - (The Centre of Wellbeing) loves to teach people about the use of therapeutic essential oils for their emotions. Clair runs the Centre of Wellbeing in Sawbridgeworth and has identified the need for therapists to work together and offer the education and understanding needed so families can have an informed choice about their healthcare. Clair has a passion to support those with depression so, along with Peter Hirst, they created The Yellow Book. This is a collection of many different artistic expressions through poetry and art, to help the reader better understand those with mental health.
Jennifer Varney - (Natural Therapeutic Solutions) believes one of the ways we can empower people with wellness is through collaboration. The ever increasing concerns about illness in the family and workplace is causing people to look elsewhere for help and advice to solve the problems they live with daily.
The Wellness Summit is a group of parents and therapists who have come together to share their experiences and teach others about how they have used mindfulness, meditation, nutrition, EFT, therapeutic essential oils, music, reflexology, massage and other complimentary therapies.
Jennifer is qualified as a Homeopath, EFT & Matrix Re-imprinting Practitioner she co- owns her company Natural Therapeutic Solutions and has partnered with the largest essential oil company in the world to help others understand the use of essential oils in the home instead of over the counter medications. Jennifer is also accredited to teach on the use of dōTERRA therapeutic essential oils as a CPD (Continual Personal Development) trainer.
When Jennifer was diagnosed with cancer in 2016 it was time for her to trust what she had taught others and in doing this has successfully improved her cancer condition without hospital intervention. Her belief was that she needed to take responsibility for her body and that her cancer could go, although unsure of the outcome she understood the body can heal itself with the right stimulus. Her journey was hard and is not completely over yet, she will be sharing her remarkable personal story during the event.
All of the presenters will be offering a little bit of their person experience with natural healing.
