Description

A Day of Prayer, Reflection and Study on Estates Ministry for those in ministry on housing estates or interested in thinking about how churches can engage more authentically in estate-based ministry.

This day is open to members of all churches and partnership organisations.

We are pleased to welcome:

Rt Revd Phillip North, Bishop of Burnley to speak on 'National Perspectives, Challenges & Vision'

Canon Prof. Mark Chapman, Vice-Principal, Ripon College Cuddesdon, speaking on 'The Church and the Urban Poor: Past and Present'.

We will hear reflections from Reverend Clare Dowding, Rector of St Paul's Marylebone, Reverend Owen Higgs, Vicar of St Gabriel's Pimlico and Reverend Paul Thomas, Vicar of St James's Paddington.

The Partnership Conversations panel 'Building Heaven's Gate' will draw reflections from Message Trust, Cardinal Hume Centre and Pimlico Million.

A light lunch will be provided by Munch, a social enterprise based at The Marylebone Project, Church Army hostel. The Marylebone Project is the largest homeless women's hostel in the UK and works in partnership with St Paul's, Marylebone.
