Why attend this course?

The International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) is the de facto standard for the conduct of such evaluations.

The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), in conjunction with the Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO®), established the Certified Measurement and Verification Professional® (CMVP®) program with the dual purpose of recognizing the most qualified professionals in this growing area of the energy industry, and raising the overall professional standards within the measurement and verification field.

The Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) Training course and qualification is provided exclusively by ESTA in the UK is now widely recognised as the best practice approach to measurement and verification (M&V) for energy saving projects. IPMVP (International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol) is extensively used and referenced globally, and is supported here in the UK.

AEE awards the CMVP® (Certified Measurement and Verification Professional) designation, in conjunction with EVO, to those who attend the training and subsequently pass the examination, and remain active in the field of measurement and verification.

Eligibility: each candidate for CMVP certification must pass the four-hour online exam via the ProctorU platform, as well as meet one of the following criteria (or equivalent outside America):
