Speakers

David Carpenter is a trainer in research ethics for UKRIO and Chair of an NHS research ethics committee, with a background in political philosophy. He could give input on the ethical context and ethics of working with health data, including e.g. working with large data sets and use of machine learning to develop diagnostic tools, as well as understanding NHS committees and NHS ethics and Confidentiality Advisory Group processes (for use of large data sets without consent)
