Escape the Fringe chaos and join us for Edinburgh's most practical summer party! While the city centre is in a festival frenzy, we're going to build something that (hopefully) floats!
THE PLAN 🛶
Us Tooligans are constructing a raft together to compete in the Edinburgh Raft Race on 23rd August, and you're invited to help build it! This is your chance to get hands-on with tools in a relaxed, social atmosphere and be a part of a super cool community project - which will, hopefully, stay afloat...
So if you've ever wondered "how hard can it be to build a raft?" - now's your chance to find out! And never fear - if you'd rather sit back, socialise, and just watch the ship-related shenanigans - that's totally fine too. There'll be food, drinks, games and tunes a-plenty.
POT LUCK 🥘
If you have time and are able to, we'd love it if folk could bring a vegetarian/vegan dish (enough for 1-3 people) so we can have a delicious food-sharing feast! There'll be a free beer for everyone on arrival, and after that it's BYOB. Please make a note of any allergens, and remember to bring a tupperware to take home any leftovers (we're not ones for waste 😉).
Suggested donation is £3 to contribute to our costs!
