With a bewildering set of new ‘post-Brexit’ Intellectual Property (IP) Trade Mark and Design Rights requirements to navigate, Cumbria LEP in partnership with McDaniel's Law are hosting this free guidance session to help you navigate the changes.
Join our live online clinic where we will be ready to take on all your burning questions about the new rules and requirements.
Adam Turley is a Managing Associate at McDaniel’s Law, specialists in intellectual property law, and heads up their North West office in Carlisle. He advises on all aspects of intellectual property law whether contentious or non-contentious, with a particular focus on disputes around intellectual property ownership and infringement. Cumbria LEP's EU Transition Business Advisors, Peter Fleming and John Cairns, will Chair the session.
If you are one of the following and you wish your rights to be covered in the UK as well as the EU, you need to take specific positive action:
• Pending applicant for a EU TM right.
• Pending international applicant for a Design right designating the EU.
• Pending applicant for a Community Registered Design Right.
• Pending international applicant for a Design right designating the EU.
• Holder of an application for action under the Customs Regulation which covers the UK and EU Member States.
