EU Settlement Scheme briefing session for Sussex students

The International Student Support team will be running a weekly briefing session throughout October to guide and support University of Sussex students through the UK government’s new EU Settlement Scheme. This is the system for granting EU citizens with ‘pre-settled’ or ‘settled’ status in the UK that was drawn up following negotiations with the European Commission.

The briefing session will cover:

• What is the EU Settlement Scheme?
• Why should you apply?
• How to apply
• Family members of EU nationals
• How to obtain further advice

There will also be time for questions. The same session will be repeated every Wednesday throughout October.
