The European Vegan Summit 2025 will take place on 9–11 September 2025 online. It is the only event in Europe entirely dedicated to the transformation of the food system in the spirit of social justice, combating climate change, caring for public health and fighting for animal rights. Three days of debates, lectures and meetings with leaders of change from around the world will provide an opportunity to set new directions for politics, science, activism and business.

Day 1 – Tuesday, September 9

We open with visionary keynote speeches by Dr. Krista Hiddema, Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni, and Claudia Giampietri, setting the stage for transformative ideas on food, justice, and system change. Panels throughout the day explore the global food system in 2026, the right to food transparency, and how to break down silos in food governance, featuring international experts like Dr. Shireen Kassam, Simon Handschuh, Peter Carter, and Fabio Ciconte.

Day 2 – Wednesday, September 10

The second day dives into the politics of trade and pricing. From the EU-Mercosur agreement to the hidden costs of retail chains and food education 2.0, discussions focus on systemic injustice and how education and transparency can empower both policy and consumers. Speakers include Charlotte Linnebank, Maximilian Herzog, Carla Lettieri, Valentina Taglietti, and more.

Day 3 – Thursday, September 11

We close the summit with critical conversations on power and perception. Don't miss the compelling dialogue between Dr. Sylwia Spurek and Stefano Liberti in “Tomato Gate”, followed by sessions on ethical competition in food markets and greenwashing in the food industry.
