IS BUILDING DEVELOPMENT AFFECTING YOUR HEALTH?

Chaired by David Hart QC, Chair of the Environmental Law Foundation

Evidence examined

The Analysis, presented as Community Evidence to candidates in the lead up to local council elections in May 2018, will be used to promote initiatives that alleviate the impacts of construction and new development. Suggestions include Access to Natural Green Space Standards (ANGst), tree planting and greening, rigorous health and environmental impact assessments in neighbourhoods with poor air quality, and influencing planning gains like Section 106 and Community Infrastructure Levy.
