About this event

Whether its deciding where to eat, which trainers are the best, or which film to watch, we apply critical thought to many day-to-day decisions. But do we apply similar levels of critical thought in deciding what to read for academic purposes?

With so much information to choose from, it’s important to prioritise what we read by critically reviewing its value and relevance for the task at hand.

Aimed at students, this session will ask:

• What is peer review?

• How to evaluate sources?

• How to start reading?

More information on Evaluating sources is available from: https://intranet.abertay.ac.uk/students/study-skills/guides/researching/evaluating/
