Event description
Learn about methods to evaluate the impact of public service projects. This event is part of the Festival of Social Science 2019.

About this Event

Join this workshop aimed at professionals working in Local Authorities and third sector organisations, to gain access to methods specifically designed to evaluate the impact of public service projects. Work with us to learn about evaluation tools and best practices.

Are you responsible for making decisions about how to allocate scarce public resources? When budgets are tight, how do you decide which projects deserve public money? The Spotlight Toolkit is being developed to help you evaluate the impact of your projects with confidence.

Join this event and meet Dr Gina Yannitell Reinhardt from the Department of Government, University of Essex, who will host this hands-on workshop alongside her team of expert academics. This event is part of the Festival of Social Science taking place at the University of Essex in 2019.

*There will be a small amount of money available to help attendees with travel expenses. This will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. To make an application for a reimbursement of your travel expenses please contact the organiser.

**Complimentary tea and coffee will be served to all attendees and a networking lunch will take place from 12:15 - 13:45. Please register your place during the registration process.
