Thank you for your interest in the Evening Art Retreat, which will be held on several Monday evenings throughout the Autumn term 2025, at the Friends Meeting House, Bush Road, London E11 3AU.
These ecumenical Monday evening sessions are an opportunity to explore and develop your personal connection to God through visual art and reflective prayer exercises. Such as, Lectio and Visio Divina.
We will be looking at a broad variety of themes, and notably during the December sessions, will be focusing on the season of Advent.
Whilst this is not an art lesson, I will be available to help each of you on your creative journey, should you want to develop or learn new skills. You can decide what media you would like to use and if you wanted to bring along any materials (water based) that you already have and would like to use, please do so.
All basic materials will be provided such as: collage & mixed media, drawing & painting, marzipan & clay sculpture. Along with several printmaking processes such as: mono printing, Gelli plate printing (various techniques) and Lino printing (including cutting & registration).
