Step into a serene, artful sanctuary thoughtfully designed by studio owner Afi, where soft candlelight, ambient interiors, and gourmet wine create a warm setting for a truly immersive experience. This unique evening will be unlike any other you've experienced before; blending mindfulness, creative expression, and community connection.

This still life workshop invites you to explore painting as a mindful, joyful process — regardless of experience. Guided with care and imagination, you'll learn how to observe shape, colour, and composition, and express your own visual language through still life arrangements inspired by seasonal objects, flowers, and everyday beauty.

✦ Do I need to be good at painting or have experience?

Not at all! This workshop is designed for all levels — from absolute beginners to those with creative experience. The focus is on slowing down, exploring colour and form, and enjoying the process, not perfection.

✦ What will we be painting?

We’ll be creating still life artworks based on thoughtfully styled arrangements — seasonal fruits, flowers, vintage objects and more. You'll be encouraged to interpret the setup in your own expressive way.

✦ What’s included in the ticket price?

Your ticket includes: All art materials (paint, brushes, paper, easels) Guided instruction and 1:1 creative support A glass of wine or non-alcoholic alternative Light nibbles Your finished painting to take home

✦ Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely! These evenings are a lovely way to spend time with a friend or loved one. Just be sure to book in advance, as spots are limited.

✦ Is this suitable for teens or children?

This event is designed for adults (18+) due to the wine offering and the nature of the session. If you're interested in a family-friendly version, feel free to reach out — I occasionally run creative afternoons suitable for all ages.

✦ What if I don’t drink alcohol?

No problem at all — there will be a non-alcoholic option available (herbal tea, sparkling water or juice). Just let us know in advance or on arrival.

✦ Where is the venue?

The session takes place at a beautiful, cosy studio café in Hampton Hill — thoughtfully curated by owner Afi, with soft lighting, intimate tables, and a welcoming atmosphere. Located on Hampton Hill High street.

✦ What time should I arrive?

Doors open at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start. We recommend arriving a little early to get settled with a drink and choose your spot.

Can I come alone?

YES! This evening is all about connection, and meeting like-minded enthusiasts so please come solo!! You'll be leaving with wonderful new connections!
