Event description

Description

Chief Executive of Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL), Claire Murdoch, joins us for the evening to discuss the challenges facing Mental Health Trusts, what we can do to work within, or overcome, these challenges. Claire will also talk about the impact of being one of the Trusts chosen as part of the Carter Review.

Over the past 30 years, Claire has held a series of positions working in community mental health, substance misuse and learning disabilities service. Claire joined CNWL as an Executive Director in 1999. In June 2016 she was appointed as National Mental Health Director at NHS England (NHSE) and will be working with the NHSE Mental Health Policy and Programme Team to deliver the 5 year forward view for Mental Health.

If you work in mental health, are passionate about improving patient care within it or simply want to understand more about the world of mental health organisations, this evening event is for you.

The evening will also include the opportunity for networking over drinks.
