About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join us for a light evening stroll as we take in the beauty that both Mistley and Manningtree, Essex have to offer. Our team of coastal rangers will guide you from The Walls in Mistley, past Mistley Quays, and onto the sea wall towards Cattawade.

They'll be pointing out not only the magnificent bird species we have on our coast, but also the important habitats and a variety of wildlife along the way. Whether you're after a fun family activity, you're a seasoned birdwatcher or just wanting to be outside in nature, this walk is perfect for you!

Walks are suitable for all ages, and well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times to avoid disturbing the wildlife. Tickets must be booked for all adults and children attending, and under 18s must attend with an adult.

We will meet at the Walls, Mistley at 4PM. Please bring suitable footwear, as the paths can get muddy and slippery after wet weather. Free parking is available along the Walls. There are public toilets available on Brook Street, CO11 1DJ but please note that they close at dusk.

Please feel free to get in touch with us at: info.essex@birdaware.org for any questions or queries!
