Evening Private View, Museum of Royal Worcester
Event Information
Description
The Museum of Royal Worcester holds the largest and most important collection of Worcester porcelain in the world, covering the history of the design, manufacture and decoration of the earliest wares produced in 1751 until the factory ceased production in 2009. The museum is currently closed for an extensive Heritage Lottery Funded refurbishment and will re-open in May 2018. We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to hold an opening private view of the new presentation of this wonderful collection. Our visit will include an introductory talk, viewing of the new displays in the galleries, drinks and canapés. New members are especially encouraged to come and this will be an ideal opportunity to meet fellow Art Fund supporters.
