Is this session suitable for me?

Accepted Answer

It's a mid strength, yet still gentle style of breathwork which people love. However, everyone has their own preferences of how breathwork feels best. If you have a serious health condition or concern, there is one technique that you can't do, but variations are always offered. Let Christine know.

Is it concious connected breathing?

Accepted Answer

No. We use rhythmic breathing. Conscious connected breathing creates agitation in the body - which is the opposite of what we want. Rhythmic breathing activates the parasympathetic part of your nervous system, can bring you into heart coherence, & feel very pleasurable as it takes you to meditation.

What do I need to do this?

Accepted Answer

Ideally headphones, as the trypnaural music really boosts the experience & it's best experienced this way. You may wish to have something to cover your eyes, like an eye mask or scarf. And for comfort, make sure you've been to the toilet, blown your nose, & had a drink of water if your mouth's  dry.

Question 4

Will it effect my sleep?

Accepted Answer

Yes - in a good way! This style of breathwork, at this time of night, will have you sleeping like a baby when you are ready for bed. In fact some people do this session for this primarily this benefit.

What are the contraidications?

Accepted Answer

People with the following conditions should not participate in the breath holds, instead do the variations offered: 
* Severe/ critical diseases or infections
* COPD-II and COPD-III
* Organ failure or late-stage terminal illness
* Pregnancy
* If you have epilepsy, a pacemaker, or heart irregularity.
