Color is all you need is an inspirational 2 days class by Pantone and sketching class taught by Mary Phan artist/creator of Very Mary Inspired and The Sketchbook Series. After using her sketching skills as both an interior designer and to illustrate design concepts as an event designer, Mary has developed an experience that aims to teach creative professionals and any creative individuals in between how to use sketching to bring ideas to life. The Sketchbook Series was initially designed for creative professionals in the events industry, but has been embraced by interior designers, students, and so many others! If you're a designer, planner, florist, baker, illustrator grapich designer, or just love being creative and want to learn how to sketch, this class is for you!
You will know everything about using Pantone colors for your business, color theory and trends, what is behind the Pantone color of the year! Mary Phan's course will be UNIQUE: She will go over lessons on how to concept dessert stations, talk about color theory, introduction to 1 point perspectives to concept a tabletop design, and introduce to you a quick way to concept a room layout. All of these lessons will help you to bring your clients ideas to life! Even if you feel you can not draw, Mary will walk you step by step through all the lessons and she promises to leave you feeling inspired! All attendees will receive a Pantone goodie bag and their own sketch kit to continue to practice on their own.

To get your creative juices flowing, we will have coffee/tea and morning pastries and will continue with a lavish lunch savored only for the best. * Pantone will bring all Pantone Products, all measurment devices with them for attendees to test.
**Attendees can bring some recently approved samples with them for Pantone to measure them and give some professional feedback

Day 2: Event design & sketching with Mary Phan and The Sketchbook series

9:50AM – 10:25 AM Choosing Pantone colors + How to shade + Color using copic markers


11.00 – 12:30 PM Intro into 2D perspectives (Dessert Station)

3.30 PM -5.30 PM Quick in room perspective – Quick protyping


What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Hotel is located in downtown Milan in the historic part of the city. The Hotel is situated on a one-way narrow street, from which large motor coaches are restricted. A Taxi or Uber are the best transportation means to get there. You can easily reach the hotel by walk from the closest tube station MM Montenapoleone (yellow line).
