Doors Open Days is Scotland's largest free festival that celebrates places and stories, new and old.
Brodie Castle is delighted to be taking part in Doors Open Day Moray, offering free access through self-guided visits and two guided tours in the afternoon.
Our self-guided access allows you to enjoy the Castle at your own pace, and our expert guides will be available to answer any questions you may have. Please book the 10.30am slot for self-guided visits. You are welcome to arrive any time between 10.30am–2pm (last entry 1.30pm).
Tours led by one of our knowledgeable guides, taking in the main rooms of the castle and covering the history of the Brodie family. Please book your chosen time slot for a tour.
The castle houses a magnificent collection of furniture, ceramics and artwork, including works by 17th-century Dutch masters. It also boasts an impressive library containing over 6,000 volumes.
Times:
Self-guided visits are between 10.30am–2pm (last entry 1.30pm)
Guided tours are available at 2.30pm and 3.30pm

Approximately 1 hour.
Accessibility
The castle is a historic building and therefore tours involve steps, staircases and uneven surfaces throughout.
Meeting point
Please arrive at the Welcome Centre to confirm your attendance. If you have booked a tour, please arrive at least 30 minutes in advance to confirm your place; otherwise, we may reallocate your space. Our Welcome Centre can be reached on 01309 641703 should you wish to cancel or inform us you’re running late.
Is there parking?
