Event: Evening Christmas Trail

For the Brodie Evening Christmas Trail, every ticket includes a light-up gift!

Celebrate the start of the Christmas holidays and have some festive fun at Brodie Estate! Join us for a one-off, after-dark edition of the Gingerbread Trail. The shrubbery and castle are lit up in festive colours, and twinkling sounds accompany the route as you search for gingerbread men.

Every child (3+) requires a ticket for the trail, which includes a light-up gift. Under 3s are free of charge but will not receive a light-up gift. Accompanying adults are £4.

The café will be open for hot chocolate and sweet treats. Mums and dads: there will be beer, cider and mulled wine also available!

The Welcome Centre is open for some late-night shopping for any last-minute Christmas presents – we have a super sale, with many items 50% off.

The castle will also be open between 5pm and 7pm (last entry 6.15pm), where you can wander round and enjoy the beautiful Christmas trees in the principal rooms.
Please note: a separate admission is required for this – you can either pre-book via Eventbrite or upgrade your ticket at the Welcome Centre on the night.

Is there parking?

Yes. There is a £5 parking charge. Members enjoy free parking on presentation of their National Trust for Scotland car parking sticker. If you are interested in becoming a member, please speak to one of our team or head to our Join page.

Do you offer refunds?

It is your responsibility to check your order and tickets throughout the online purchase process; mistakes cannot always be rectified. Tickets are non-refundable, but date changes may be possible in exceptional circumstances upon request, provided you contact us in advance of your booked date and there is availability.

What does my ticket include?

One ticket is required per child taking part; you will receive a trail sheet per ticket. Each paying child will receive a light-up gift.
