The short answer is 'no', the long answer being 'of course not - event marketing certainly does not stop with a couple of posts on social media'. Events create opportunities for marketing and communications far beyond the capabilities of social media.

In this workshop you will learn the basics of event marketing and the core elements that engage with your audience, so that they go from browsers to event bookings.

  • The basic elements of event marketing
  • Must haves for an effective event strategy
  • Key drivers for event attendance and event bookings
  • Review some of the most effective communication channels (paid vs free)
  • Look at communication opportunities for pre-, during- & post- event

Our workshop is for anyone wishing to discover the possibilities offered by events and face-to-face contact with their customers and prospects. Perhaps you have just assumed a role that covers events or its something you would like to get into. From beginners to experienced amateurs, you are welcome. We'll start with the basics before going into some essential topics in more detail.

Raimonda Richardson has more than 12 years of experience in corporate event management, communications and promotions. Her expertise comes from working on a wide variety of events including conferences, trade fairs, business networking and smaller round table meetings.

With extensive experience in marketing strategy, campaign management, database development, content marketing, copywriting, PR and Media planning/buying Raimonda founded FORCE4 Events in 2019.

Driven by Raimonda's passion and enthusiasm for all things B2B events, this vibrant marketing agency has a strong focus on events.

Recent event work includes the launch of a virtual Laptop Monday national event in April 2020 and support with establishing this as a staple twice monthly networking event; launch of a series of software webinars for a CRM Consultancy in Reading; and (pre-COVID) the exhibitor marketing support at Optrafair, largest optical conference & exhibition.
