#EventPitch: Organiser & Sponsor Matchmaking

WARNING: It's a speed pitch. Not for the faint-hearted!
What better way to tell someone about your event than to describe it in 2 minutes! There will be a group of sponsors in the audience, so make sure you're prepped. We know this might be new to some, so here are some tips:
(1) TOPIC - Tell us what your meetups are focused on. If you can recreate a typical meetup in a few sentences: fantastic! We also want to know your mission and aims, so don't leave them out.
(2) AUDIENCE - the most important part! Tell us who comes to your event. If you know what companies they're from and job descriptions and influence, you can give an accurate representation of your event!
(3) REACH - Do you have a Twitter account, Meetup community, Facebook gor LinkedIn group? These are all assets! And they're extremely valuable if you engage them regularly. Quantify your following and engagement, to help us understand your own event's influence.
(4) PROPOSAL - Finally - what you've come for! You don't need to ask for how much, but you do need to say what type of sponsorship you're looking for. If you want some food/drink or a venue or some interactive tools or just some financial support.
Before you know it, you'll be walking away with some sponsors suited to your event!
