Almost every church will tell you that they are welcoming – and yet, typically only around 10% of people who try a church will join. Bob Jackson writes, “True welcome is about active encouragement into the heart of the community of the church, and its job is not done until someone is completely at home, a valued, contributing member of the Body of Christ.” This workshop looks at various aspects of a church’s welcome and introduces tools to help churches become truly welcoming.
