Everyday Archive
Overview
Date and Time: Wednesday, December 17th 10:00 – 17:00
Location: Somerset house, Inigo rooms SW–1.08
Everyday Archive is a cultural audiovisual exhibition that invites you to slow down, reconnect, and reflect. In a world that often feels driven by speed, novelty, and survival, this exhibition is a space to remember where we come from and the stories that shape who we are.
Folk culture is not a relic of our ancestors, it is a living, breathing thing created by ordinary people, shaped by their local environments, and continually adapted over time. Rooted in this belief, Everyday Archive places everyday people at its centre.
By collaborating with various communities and artists, this exhibition weaves together photography, sound, and personal contributions to explore how folk heritage is preserved, shared, and reimagined.
Join Everyday Archives to not only experience folk cultures from across the globe but to connect with yourself.
