Frequently asked questions
Bring a bottle of water to keep hydrated, and your own packed lunch. All music and other resources will be provided. It may be best to wear comfortable clothes as you may be asked to move and stretch during the day.
No! The group will be large enough that no individual voice will be singled out. You'll be able to sing as loud or as quiet as you'd like! We won't test anyone's voices individually. If you are unsure what part you might be best suited to, one of our workshop leaders will suggest what you could try.
Not at all, our workshop leaders have decades of experience between them working with complete beginner singers, so the sessions will be tailored to making sure you are all on the same page when it comes to learning the songs and picking up new stuff.
No, everything will be taught by ear (call and response) so you can pick it up as easily as a football chant. We will provide lyric sheets instead, so you can see the words to songs.
We have disabled access, a disabled toilet, and a car park on site. There will be no hearing loop available. Any large print materials can be requested up to a week beforehand. Movement modifications for exercises will be suggested by the workshop leaders.
