Mushrooms, or more precisely, fungi are all around us all the time. Learn how they shape our environment, help to feed us and affect our lives in innumerous ways. Join us to hear fungus expert Rarg Afari (aka Chris) show some of the wildly different forms and lifestyles that different species have evolved into and the niches that they fill. Chris is a consultant field mycologist, carrying out fungus surveys for a variety of clients. He is also an active member of his local fungus group and works part-time in the herbarium of the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh where he is cataloguing the extensive and historical collection of fungi.
And of course there will be our usual mix of singing great songs together with the house band, reflections, chats, tea and cake and community all in a non-religious setting. Let's celebrate this amazing life together.
