We're really excited to announce our new webinar series looking at Britain's mammals!
About this event
Our webinars will be held monthly and will welcome industry experts to talk about a wide range of mammals and all things mammal related.
We're really excited to anounce that our next webinar will be a badger filled evening hosted by Andy Riches. During the evening Andy will cover the badger's basic biology and ecology, urban badgers and their mountain counterparts and his research on the Isle of Arran Introductions. The talk will finish with a question and answer session by those attending the webinar, so make sure to get your badger questions ready to be answered!
Andy is a retired Civil Servant who has been studying mammals generally and badgers in particular, since the 1960s. He has developed and delivered training on badgers to numerous groups including environmental consultants, police forces, and staff from Nature Scot, the Forestry Commission and the Crown Office as well as to the general public. He works as an expert witness in the field of badger crime.
This event will be held on the 29th of June 2022 at 19:30 BST via Zoom and ticket proceeds will go towards the conservation work of the charity.
Please note a link to the Zoom will be sent to you via email before the event starts, if you haven't received one please check your spam folders. If you are having trouble accessing the event contact Sophie Webb at training@themammalsociety.org.
We look forward to seeing you there!
