A Dying Matters Free event
What can you do? Watch a film, have a cuppa at the Death Cafe, join a free talks on wills, estate planning, lasting powers of attorney, and end of life planning, colour a coffin, listen to a New Orleans Jazz Band, see an eco-hearse, visit one of the many advice and information stalls.
The event starts at 10:45am with the New Orleans Jazz Band parading around Millennium Square, followed by opening speeches at 11am from Cllr Rebecca Charlwood, Leeds City Council Executive Member for Health, Wellbeing and Adults, and Paul Hayes, Quality improvement Manager (Associate), National Council for Palliative Care and Dying Matters. Our lunchtime speaker at 12:30pm is Xina Gooding Broderick from Hugh Gooding Funerals.
