Evidence for Change
Tue 25 April 2017, 10:00 – 16:00 BST
We are pleased to introduce a new programme that will support you to use evidence to develop your practice, services and research. This builds on the success of our pilot programme – Evidence for Change.
This professional development programme is relevant to people working in healthcare, public health, social care and other services. It is also relevant to people in the early stages of a research project. (Research experience is not necessary.)
25 April 2017 Developing your research question
16 May 2017 Identifying your evidence (including database searching skills)
13 June 2017 Critically appraising your evidence and reporting findings
Between the day-long workshops, you will have use of the University of Liverpool Library and will be supported by our academic team to begin a brief evidence review on a topic relevant to your interests. Workshops include expert tutorials on evidence review methods and facilitated practical work.
Venue, fee and registration:
The venues are close to the University of Liverpool. Fees are £375 per person for the programme, including University enrolment and academic support.
To encourage teams, we offer discounted rates of £300/person for teams of 2, £250/person for teams of 3 or more.
