Who is this training for?
This one-day course is suitable for enforcement officers and statutory duty body holders in Scotland. It covers the rules of evidence, obtaining statements, official notebooks, photographs and productions, as well as how to report offenders to the Procurator Fiscal and how to present evidence in court.
What certification will I get?
You will receive a certificate of attendance from Keep Scotland Beautiful.
The course carries a maximum value of 3.5 hours (core activity) for the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme.
How long will the training take?
This training is five hours of learning and runs from 10:00 - 16:00 on 2 December.

This training will take place at our offices in Stirling, Keep Scotland Beautiful, Glendevon House, The Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4TZ
What are the learning outcomes of the training?
This course will help you to:
- Use and summarise the different types of evidence.
- Obtain statements confidently.
- Compile notebooks correctly.
- Label productions appropriately.
- Support the proper use of photographs.
What is the cost of the training?
£225 exclusive of VAT.

We (Keep Scotland Beautiful) will hold the information you have given us via Eventbrite in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
We will use the information you provide to process your registration for the training, send you communications about the training, including relevant follow-up information and for monitoring and reporting. We will use anonymised data for purposes including marketing and promotion.
If your attendance at the training has been organised by an organisation or company, we may share relevant information with them.
We will not record any of the training in full, however, we may take short video clips and images for use in marketing and promotion of the training. We may use the video clips and recordings for future promotion of our activities. This includes, without limitation the right to use the recordings in publicity materials, newsletters, newspapers, magazine articles, exhibitions, films, television and online (web and social media). The recordings may be made available for others to share, including partners and the press. We will give you notice in the training before we take videos or images, so you can choose whether you want to be involved in them.
We will retain data required for your certificate of attendance and any CPD hours gained for a period of four years and will then delete the information. We will store any other information you provide to us via Eventbrite for as long as we require it to complete the training and send any relevant follow-up information. We will then delete the data.
