Aims: A little like a school trip, this is a social gathering for a group of teachers/non-teachers with a common interest in STEM, Computer Science and Computing education (5-18 years) joining a public event. By joining our group, you will be able to indulge your interests and passion, forge friendships with others, and gain some inspiration, ideas & resources for activities to use with your classes or community.

• 5.00-5.45pm Optional mEat & Greet in The Grey Friar Optional meeting before the public event, providing an opportunity for us to share news of events, projects, resources that support the teaching of #Computing in school and linking to the event theme. Plan to arrive early if you need to allow time for a drink/meal. If you have something interesting to share, please bring it with you.
  
• 5.45-5.50 5 Minute Walk to Darwin Theatre - or skip the 'mEat & greet' and arrange to meet us at Darwin.
• 6.00-9.00pm Lecture - We'll attend the lecture together as a group, more information here:
• Professor Susan Gathercole OBE is one of Britain’s most eminent Psychologists, and a fellow of the British Academy. She is Director of the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit at the University of Cambridge, where she established the innovative research clinic at the Centre for Attention, Learning and Memory (CALM) in 2014. This clinic has already helped over 800 children suffering from cognitive and behavioural problems. Come and hear how she does it!
