Exam Tips for Dyslexic Students presented by Sam Greenwood
Tue 24 January 2017, 18:35 – 19:45 GMT
Sam Greenwood is a trained teacher, exam marker and is dyslexic.
He first developed a range of techniques for improving exam performance as a teenager and developed them further as a teacher working with dyslexics. The techniques combine a knowledge of psychology, history, education and exam theory to produce ‘dyslexic exam strategies’ (DES). His approach to learning has be used in a number of schools and colleges across London and former students have gone on to study at renowned universities.
This talk will share a range of strategies specifically designed to promote student success. It is useful for anyone preparing for upcoming exams, especially GCSE and A Level students and parents seeking more information on how to support their child’s revision.
