This 2 hour interactive session is designed for complete beginners who want to feel confident using Excel. With the added bonus of learning how ChatGPT can act like your own personal tutor.
You’ll start with the basics of Excel, learning how to create and format simple spreadsheets and use essential formulas. Then, we’ll show you how to use ChatGPT to explain formulas, generate solutions, and guide you through tasks step by step.
By the end of the session, you’ll have built a small project, learned how to ask ChatGPT the right questions, and gained practical skills you can apply straight away in your work, studies, or personal life.

In our session, we'll demo how to use ChatGPT alongside Excel. Typically in a browser or ChatGPT window. Some advanced setups offer add-ins for Excel, but those aren’t necessary for beginner. Although, those methods will be explored in future sessions.
ChatGPT is surprisingly helpful, but it can make mistakes. We'll teach you how to check the formulas it gives you and troubleshoot if needed. Being able to verify and refine what the AI outputs is a key learning outcome.
