This course is designed for users who have used Excel before and want to expand their knowledge. Working with large and multiple worksheets/workbooks, improving formatting, organising data, highlighting key information and creating named ranges that are included in formula. Make Excel work for you by learning about and building functions like the IF function which is one of the most popular functions in Excel. It allows you to make logical comparisons between a value and what you expect. Or, using a lookup function like VLOOKUP or HLOOKUP for when you need to find things in a table or a range by row. For example, look up a price of an automotive part by the part number. Excel can save you so much time!

Suited for users of Excel 2010, 2013 and 2016

This course is designed for users who have used Excel before and want to expand their knowledge. Prerequisites

A working knowledge of creating/formatting simple spreadsheets, basic formulas and functions e.g. AutoSum.

Benefits

Delegates will learn how to quickly summarise multiple sheets of data into one and manage data using sort and filter functions. Learn how the effectiveness of conditional formula that can check whether cells pass or fail your rules. Create links between cells so that they all update automatically… no more duplication! Highlight targets, duplicates and errors with Conditional Formatting.

The course is held in a fully equipped computer training suite.  Courses include Instructor led training by a friendly and qualified trainer with over 30 years' experience.  The course is limited to 6 delegates who will each receive a printed workbook, cheat sheets, reference course manual (pdf by email or memory stick), a certificate on completion of the course and after course support.  Courses include refreshments throughout the day.
