Excel Training.Pre Course Registration Online Assessment

Excel is software that allows users to organise,format and calculate data with formulas using a spreadsheet system broken up by rows and columns.
There will be 2 course levels available for candidates to attend.
Each course will be one day duration.
BEFORE REGISTERING -Please ensure that you have your line managers approval as there is a local cost involved for attending the one day course
Candidates must be able to bring a laptop to the one day course as these will not be provided.( Excel 2010)
By registering your interest to attend on this page, you will then be contacted by the Central Training Administrator and be assigned a pre course online assessment which will last 5-10 mins. At completion you will be advised the level of course you should register for.
At this point you can you then register for one of the Excel training courses which will be advertised on Eventbrite at various locations.Please ensure you attend the correct course as indicated by your assessment.
This course is designed for those delegates who wish to acquire the basic skills to use Excel effectively. It would benefit anyone wishing to learn the basics of creating spreadsheets.
On completion of this course, attendees will be able to create a spreadsheet, format text and numbers, perform basic calculations and present data in a graphical format.
Attendees do not need any previous experience of Excel but must have a basic understanding of PCs, including familiarity with a keyboard and mouse.
This course is aimed at regular users of Excel who are familiar with the basics and who need to broaden their knowledge of Excel.
On completion of this course, attendees will be able to: create and apply formulas that include statistical, logical, lookup and date functions; apply formatting based on conditions; work across multiple sheets; write formulas to link sheets and workbooks; use a variety of tools to manage and extract data from lists; create a basic PivotTable to summarise data; create and modify charts.
Attendees should have attended our Excel Foundation course or have equivalent knowledge.
Before attending this course, attendees must be confident with creating basic formulas (+ - / *), use of AUTOSUM, copying formulas and an awareness of $ within formulas.
