About this Event

Our ‘Excelling Under Pressure’ workshop is designed to build self-awareness, resilience and to empower individuals to recognise stress and tackle stress-related challenges at work and in your personal life through effective coping strategies. In the workshop, we explore some of the flawed strategies that people commonly use to deal with stress and provide more beneficial alternatives including practical exercises and techniques designed to increase personal resilience, health and happiness.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

- To understand what stress is.

- The purpose of stress.

- To recognise the physical, mental and emotional signs and symptoms of stress.

- The cost of ignoring stress.

- Learn practical techniques and strategies to deal with stress and build resilience

Duration: 1.5 hours

This event is limited to a maximum of 12 people

This online workshop will be hosted by Suzy Beaumont - A trained facilitator for the Stress Management Society.

About Your Trainer

Suzy Beaumont is a former multi-award winning BBC Producer with 18 years’ experience in TV and Radio. With a track record in creating nationally recognised features and live programming, specialising in business, health & wellbeing and lifestyle documentary making.

After changing and overhauling every aspect of her own life, Suzy is now inspiring others to do the same. Suzy is the Founder of Change Your World Events which creates a ripple effect of positive change for Individuals, organisations and the environment.

Stress, depression and heartbreak sent Suzy spiralling downwards after a succession of bereavements, relationship breakdowns and becoming a full time carer for her disabled sister. The feelings of overwhelm became too much, to the point where she contemplated taking her own life. With the support of life coach and a consistent personal development practice she re-built herself and now helps others through her Change Your World coaching services.

Suzy is also an accredited facilitator with the Stress Management Society, the UK’s leading authority on stress management issues, delivering two of their flagship stress awareness sessions ‘Excelling Under Pressure’ and Manager’s Managing Stress which are designed to build self-awareness, resilience and develop a manager’s coping strategies to deal with stress in themselves and others.

Suzy has a massive vision to positively change the world using personal development. The aim is to inspire individuals to live life better through a consistent self-improvement practice.
