Asset Skills has secured funding to pilot local networks between employers and universities.
This will be the first in a series of meetings, and aims to discuss what Asset Skills could usefully do to help develop the relationship /collaborative projects between Swansea Metropolitan University and it's local employers.
The meeting will be an excellent opportunity to have a broad discussion and identify some actions that we can take away and work on. For example at a recent meeting in Scotland two of the actions that came out of the meeting were 1. To develop a programme of ‘Executive breakfast briefings’ on key topics around legislative / policy change and 2. To carry out research and then host a mini conference with employers to thoroughly investigate what ‘graduate employability’ means for the sector in their geographical area.
The meeting will consist of short presentations to put the meeting into context, followed be an open discussion and identification of a few agreed, appropriate actions for us to take forward and progress.
There will be limited parking available at the venue. Further information: email@example.com
