Finding your way with sales

Sales is not always the part of business founders look forward to, but it is the engine that keeps everything moving. Whether it is turning conversations into contracts, keeping hold of the customers you have already won, or working out which opportunities are really worth chasing, sales can feel more like guesswork than a process. Add in the need to manage a pipeline and the ever-growing list of tools on offer, and it is easy to feel like you are making it up as you go along.

That is why we are bringing the Workshed community together for a Sales Roundtable, a practical, open forum to swap experiences, test ideas and get guidance from people who have been there before.

This is not a presentation and it is not about selling. Guided by a facilitator, with experienced sales experts in the room, the group sets the agenda. You bring the questions and challenges, and together we will work through them.

Expect to explore questions such as:

  • How do I know which opportunities are worth chasing?
  • What does a healthy sales pipeline look like?
  • Which tools make sales easier, not harder?
  • How can I balance winning new customers with looking after the ones I already have?
  • What does a 'good' sales practice actually look like for a business at my stage?
