Executive Coaching Programme: Equality Diversity and Inclusion Initiative

About this event
This focus group is an opportunity for alumni of Tavistock Consulting's Executive Coaching Programme to share your experience of the programme in relation to issues of difference and diversity. We invite your recommendations and suggestions for ways in which the programme can be improved.
We are undertaking an overall review of difference and diversity looking at many aspects of ECP - from recruitment of participants, and staff, to the recommended reading and how race, and other aspects of difference, and diversity are positioned in our approach to teaching on the programme.
The focus groups are part of our research into the experience of past participants . We also have an online survey and are offering 1-1 interviews with members of the faculty staff. Your input will be fully anonymised and summarised into themes.
The aim of our initiative is to ensure that any course we deliver is proactively inclusive, is a positive experience for current and future participants and adequately equips participants to work effectively with difference and diversity in their work as executive coaches. In doing so we wish to contribute to a wider societal responsibility to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practice, supporting and harnessing diversity as a creative element in productive and profitable organisational life.
We recognise that while an understanding of the dynamics of difference and diversity is inherent in our teaching and thinking, the lived experience of participants may be impacted in ways we do not fully appreciate and we would like to understand better understand your experience when you were a participant.
What was your experience? Whatever your diversity or difference or opinion we would value your participation in what we hope will be a considerable contribution to the future development of the course.
