Join us for this online session exploring executive function.

Join us for this online session exploring executive function. During the session we will think about strategies to support with:

  • Inhibition: The ability to control impulses and ignore distractions.
  • Planning and Prioritising: Being able to set goals and working out the steps to achieve them.
  • Working Memory: The ability to hold information in your mind over a short period of time.
  • Self-Regulation: The ability to regulate and stay on task in stressful situations e.g. not giving up when frustrated.
  • Attention: Attention is generally influenced by two other executive function skills; inhibition and self regulation.
