Description

Leg pain and tendinopathy can be difficult to manage, especially in athletes and other patients who exercise regularly. This course will explore and gain new insights into diagnosis techniques, using relevant case histories, and pathophysiology of chronic exertional compartment syndrome, as well as examining current concepts in the mechanisms leading to tendinopathy.


By the end of this course you should have learnt useful interventions and a simplified approached to the management of both exercise induced leg pain and tendinopathy.

About Dr David Hulse:
BSc(Hons) MSc FFSEM(UK)

Dr David Hulse works for Wimbledon Clinics as a Consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine, with specialist interests in exercise-related leg pain and cycling injuries.

His practice involves the diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of a broad range of lower limb trauma and overuse injuries, including hip and groin conditions and tendinopathies.


About Dr Moiz Moghal:
MBChB MRCGP DipSEM (UK&I) MSc FFSEM

Dr Moiz Moghul is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine at Wimbledon Clinics. His main areas of expertise include treating musculoskeletal and lower limb injuries.

Moiz Moghal additionally treats patients as Chief Medical Officer for GB and England Hockey and acts as team doctor for Southampton Football Club and Hampshire County Cricket Club. He also acts as a clinical examiner for the University of Bath Master’s degree in Sports Medicine; and provides competition cover for British Athletics and the England & Wales Cricket Board.
