Struggling with pain when you train? Unsure what’s safe to do with a sore back, shoulder, or knee?

Join us for a talk delivered by experienced Clinic Director and MSK injury specialist, Chris Wood from Namix Performance Centre, on how to train smart around pain and injury, not avoid the gym because of it.

This session is for:

  • Gym-goers dealing with persistent pain or past injuries
  • Anyone returning to training after time off due to discomfort
  • Coaches, PTs, or health professionals wanting a better approach to client pain
  • People that are frustrated with the “just rest it” advice that hasn’t worked

We’ll cover:

  • The most common myths about pain and injury in the gym
  • What pain actually means (and when you should listen to it)
  • Case studies from real Namix clients who trained through injury and got results
  • How to adjust movements and continue progressing without making things worse
  • A simple decision-making process to help you feel confident in your training choices

Why attend?
Because pain doesn’t mean stop. It means to adapt. And understanding how it can be the difference between staying consistent or completely starting over. We've helped 1000s of clients retrain their brains with an education behind how to move with an injury, which has led to successful outcomes in their injury recovery.

This event is completely FREE to join - limited spaces are available!

Frequently asked questions

I have a long-term chronic back pain, is this suitable for me?

Absolutely! If you have any long-term MSK pain whether it is back, knee, shoulder or hip then you should attend this talk. We will cover how to work with chronic pain too.

Is there parking at the event?

Parking is available in our communal car park on our court. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot early. Parking is free.

I have just recovered from knee surgery, is this suitable?

Yes, this talk would be suitable. Key points spoken about in this talk can be applied to people who have just had orthopaedic surgery.

As it's in a gym, do we need gym kit? Are we working out too?

No, don't worry, there is no practical element to this talk that requires gym kit. This is a talk seminar style, not a practical workshop.
