Exeter Neuroscience Seminar Series: Causes and Consequences of Dementia

Dementia is an expanding area of research at the University of Exeter, this symposium will bring together neuroscience and other biomedical researchers from across the University to discuss the causes and consequences of dementia, metabolic diseases and diabetes. This symposium is open to University of Exeter researchers interested in the science of the brain. Other interested parties are welcome to contact the organisers. The symposium will include talks from researchers and keynote lectures by Dr Mike O'Neill (from Eli Lilly) and Prof Clive Ballard (Dean of the University of Exeter Medical School).

There will be an opportunity for early career researchers to present a poster at the end of the day during a networking reception.

Symposium Themes:

Genomics

Electrophysiology

Diabetes and dementia

Epidemiological and clinical research

Symposium with lunch 12:00 - 16:30

Poster and networking reception from 16:30 - 18:00
